Week 9 - Googling Google
Google's innovation through out the years has led it to be a leading company in the architectural scenario we have created. As a company they value failure as a tool to learn from and their headquarters are whimsical and fun, generating a positive energy for all those who work there. Below are links for the Google London Office and the Googleplex in Sydney. These architectural entities are great exemplars to depict the kind of company Google presents to both the public and other corporations, a fun, transparent and innovative company.

Week 8 - Google Culture.
Google company culture demonstrates transparency and innovation, as said by Eric Schmidt. This video describes the company culture of Google and how it developed from the founding members to what it is is today. The conversation with Eric Schmidt details employment expansion and various trials Google went through in order to maintain the culture they live by today.

Week 8 - Location, Location, Location.
Site location : Brisbane CBD
Project 2 Site Location: Cnr George and Queen St.
The future scenario depicts the Brisbane skyline to grow and expand upwards with the acquisition of Brisbane of the major companies. The site as depicted above will transform and evolve into a Google Media Centre. Located on the corner of a heavy traffic area the Media Centre will be a beacon of innovative technology while also maintaining the Google company ethos of design for their employees.
Week 8 - Types of Spaces
When researching the scenario we have developed as a group, I stumbled upon this website which is primarily an office furniture website but i found the way they define the spaces they design furniture for very interesting graphically. I plan on modifying the spaces for my architectural entity in order to be more relevant to the time in the future scenario. Below are images from the website; http://bene.com/office-furniture/office-zones-and-areas/
Diagram demonstrating the relationship of spaces moving from spaces of interaction to spaces of privacy.
Back office spaces, traditional spaces of the office can be found here; workstations, executives etc.
Communication spaces, lunch rooms, meeting rooms, lounge.
Areas for concentration.
Future spaces;
Draft spaces for Google Media Centre, between spaces movement and flow should depict transparency, innovation and partial chaos as to mimic Google as a company, to look as though it would seamlessly blend with other Google offices.

Consumers become producers. A huge change in the media landscape. Social media becomes a major source of news showing the world that standard news and media today is turning into a dead language.
Relationship between virtual and physical advertisement and media control
New ways of approaching technology
Social value system changes
Growth and evolution of media
